Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance & Cultural Center
Open House "Bombazo" Celebration

August 6, 2006, 2-5pm
701 Tillery Street, Austin TX
FREE & Open to the Public

Join Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance on Sunday, August 6th, 2006, 2-5pm as we celebrate the grand opening of our Cultural Center's first permanent location! Our celebration will feature a "Bombazo," a Puerto Rican tradition that invites the community to come and dance with us before the drum! Bring your lawn chairs, dominoes, (non-alcoholic) coolers, and enjoy our big, tree covered lawn.

This event will be free and open to the public. The Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance & Cultural Center is located at 701 Tillery Street, in Austin Texas (next door to the Mrs. Baird Factory outlet). Directions on how to get there can be found on: http://www.prfdance.org/perfarts.htm#location

Our new cultural center facility was made possible in part by the generosity of Austin's own Ruta Maya Importers and the City of Austin through the Cultural Arts Division.
