Sembrando Herencia 2004 - Puerto Rico Ever After

Sembrando Herencia is our annual full-length performance that passes on our heritage to a new generation! On December 12, 2004, in a joyful celebration of traditional dance, music and song, more than 50 of our own took the stage as our professional-level performing company shared this performance with the children, teens, and adults from our performing arts programs. Special guest, Nick Rivera-Dristas greeted the community on behalf of the Puerto Rican Government (PR Fed Affairs Admin). He commended PRFDance on our high quality representation of Puerto Rican traditions through our performing company productions and our performing arts and cultural educational programs that are bringing cultural awareness to Central Texas and passing on a heritage to the next generation. Enjoy these photos below, as well as photos from the other half of our show -- the debut of our original musical Puerto Rico Ever After, a story with a happy ending that takes place in a beautiful mountain cafetal.
