Announcing auditions for roles in an original play featuring a multi-ethnic cast. Bilingual play will pay tribute to the brave men and women who rebelled against slavery in Puerto Rico -- native Taino, African slaves, and their descendants. Production will combine live music, dance, and community theater, to bring awareness of often-forgotten elements from Puerto Rico's rich history and heritage.
Auditions by appointment only: Monday or Thursday, Aug 14-31, 7pm.
Auditions held: 701 Tillery Street, 78702, Puerto Rican Culture Center (south side entrance of building)
To schedule an appointment, call Tekina-eiru Maynard at

Native American / Indigenous, and Hispanic -- including
three females and three males (20's-30's preferred but
open to any age), one lively senior, and many
supporting roles of all ages.
