Barrile Making Workshop with
Juan Fuentes & Papo DelValle

Barril-Making Workshop - Day Four

By Day Four we were almost done! Goals for today included finishing touches and corrections on the drums we made. We even made a authentic mask from Loiza from the leftover wood pieces. On day Four our littlest participant made his own drum! Later that night we celebrated our new drums!

Corrections and finishing touches...

Adjusting old barriles for the Texas heat!

Making an authentic Loiza mask from lefover parts

Getting new barriles ready for an inaugural celebration

Juan congratulating the guys on a job well done!

Celebrate new drums with a Bomba Dance

Our finished Barriles and Mask!

Thanks Juan and Papo!!!

THE END!
